Soft Skills, Inc. is a training and consulting organization located in Acton, MA. David Thrope, the chief cook and bottle washer provides the services or
manages teams of qualified subcontractors to provide the work. Mr. Thrope has been heavily involved in the training, business, and academic scenes for
several years. With an eclectic set of experiences, Soft Skills, Inc. brings wisdom to your choice of technological and management solutions. This is based
on deep understanding of the training and development process, marketing, operations, finance, computerized accounting, and strategic business
management. Mr. Thrope has been involved in all of these areas. Some of the highlights include:

18 years of teaching experience on an adjunct and full-time basis at the college level in ethics, marketing, management, accounting and computer
science
Ongoing consulting and training assignments in software (QuickBooks, MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, Act, MS Project, Mac and PC platforms) to soft
skills (interpersonal communications, presentation skills, business writing, coaching, accounting)
Experience in planning and managing training programs.
Distance Education experience with University of Phoenix and Southern New Hampshire University including online course development.
Course development for adult learners
Hiring, training and scheduling instructors for 450 training sessions quarterly
Certified QuickBooks Professional; CRCP Crystal Reports
